International Deadline: April 18, 2013
 - Highly regarded Manifest Creative Research Gallery is now seeking submissions for the Rites of Passage 2013 exhibit. Open to Juniors, Seniors, and Graduates of art and design programs.

Every year Manifest seeks to energize students and recent graduates of art and design programs towards higher goals, professionalism, and public-mindedness. Therefore, for a 9th year in a row, we offer this challenge to students and their professors in regional and national (and international) college programs to show us what you've got, bring it off campus, and share it with the everyday viewing public.

We believe there exists tremendous unexposed quality amongst people pursuing degrees in the visual arts. Revealing new artists is part of our non-profit mission!

Now open to Juniors and recent Graduates one year out!

All submissions must be postmarked or emailed no later than April 18, 2013..

One exhibit will feature the best work from artists about to receive or recently awarded an undergraduate degree from a regional, national, or international college art or design program. All entrants must have received or be scheduled to receive a college degree in 2012, 2013, or 2014, and provide an academic reference's contact info.

ELIGIBILITY
Entrants must have graduated or plan to graduate in 2012, 2013, or 2014 from an undergraduate program of art or design.

MEDIA
Work submitted may be in any media, including painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, video, digital imagery, etc.

JURY & CURATOR
Manifest's selection process involves a complex two-part system. This exhibit will be juried by an anonymous 5-9 member panel of professional and academic advisors with a broad range of expertise. The jury will then pass along their recommendations to the exhibit curator who will make the final selections from the jury-approved pool.

CATALOG
Manifest will produce a full-color catalog documenting the work selected for exhibit. Each exhibiting artist will receive one free copy of the catalog. Artists will receive their copy either in person when picking up work after the exhibit, or with the return shipment of their artwork. Additional copies can be purchased via the online bookstore.

ENTRY FEE
Each work submitted must be accompanied by a $12 non-refundable entry fee. Number of entries is unlimited.

SALE OF WORK
All work, unless indicated as not for sale (NFS), will be available for sale during exhibit. Manifest Gallery will retain a commission of 30% on all artwork sold during the exhibition.
