Greetings from the South Carolina State Fair!
Entry Registration has begun and will be open through September 1.

The South Carolina State Fair is an exciting annual venue for South Carolinians to showcase their talents and offers in excess of $300,000+ in premiums and awards in the following departments: Fine Art, Student ArtAgricultureFlowers, Home & Craft, Cattle, Dairy Goats, Sheep, Smallstock, Swine andYouth Horse.  Exhibitors from outside South Carolina are invited to participate in the following livestock contests: Cattle, Dairy Goats, Sheep, Smallstock, and Swine. We welcome you to show us your best at the South Carolina State Fair! 
Begin by logging on to www.scstatefair.org to review thePremium Guide where you will find all the rules and regulations, delivery and release dates, divisions, sections, and classes. Exhibitors are encouraged to read the rules and criteria in the Premium Guide carefully, as rules, sections, classes, etc. in some departments have changed. Then register your exhibit(s) using the Online Entry System or downloand an entry form and mail to the Entry Office.
NEW IN 2013
Agriculture Department
  • Wine Division - Added one (1) Section and five (5) Classes to separate the Dry Red Table Wine (less than 1.0% residual sugar) and Semi-Dry Red Table Wine (between 1.0% and 3.0% residual sugar)
  • Wine Division - Added one (1) Section and four (4) Classes to separate the Dry White Table Wine (less than 1.0% residual sugar) and Semi-Dry White Table Wine (between 1.0% and 3.0% residual sugar)
  • Vegetable Division - Added Mega Pumpkin and Mega Watermelon Classes. Existing and new Pumpkin and Watermelon Classes updated as follows:
    • Pumpkin, one (1) largest by weight, 20-250 lbs.                         1st $50 - 2nd $35 - 3rd $20
    • Mega Pumpkin, one (1) largest by weight, 251 lbs. and over       1st $100 - 2nd $75 - 3rd $50
    • Watermelon, one (1) largest by weight, 20-100 lbs.                    1st $35 - 2nd $20 - 3rd $10
    • Mega Watermelon, one (1) largest by weight, 101 lbs. and over  1st $50 - 2nd $35 - 3rd $20
Home & Craft Department
  • Fancy Work Division - 
    • Added Professional Knitting Section
    • Added Professional Crochet Section
    • Merged previous Infant Wear Section with Machine Sewing Section
    • Added Criteria for Judging Eggery

  • Youth Division -
      • Split all Sections into two age groups as follows:
        • Baked Goods - Ages 5-11
        • Baked Goods - Ages 12-18
        • Canning - Ages 5-11
        • Canning - Ages 12-18
        • Ceramics - Ages 5-11
        • Ceramics - Ages 12-18
        • Fancy Work - Ages 5-11
        • Fancy Work - Ages 12-18
        • Handicrafts - Ages 5-11
        • Handicrafts - Ages 12-18
